I mean literally&#8230; a BLAST of wind the whole way back! So exciting to start right under the Golden Gate. Super tough competition in men&#8217;s open, but we were NOT last. I was stroker this time and thank God I had brudah Bob D behind me to help me out when my rate was dropping. I&#8217;m so appreciative of all the mentoring from na kumu hoe. DL gives me his winning cup. I&#8217;m sure the dude has like 600 of them but still I will never forget that. A tear was welling up in my eye as I wrote that, I&#8217;m such a pussy.
