Hi this is the blog for MauiIris.com. My name is Iris and my husband Duane and I own a vacation rental on the island of Maui in the town of Kihei. This blog is a place where we can share our love of the island and Hawaiian culture.

We live most of the year in Santa Cruz, another beach town in California. We are on Maui two to three times a year.

Iris loves to spend time on the beach and snorkel as well as view the magnificent Maui sunsets just about every night.

Duane loves to snorkel, play ukulele, and participate in outrigger canoe racing.

We both love Maui and Hawaiian music.

Here we are on our 25th wedding anniversary renewing our vows. We are up to 44 years now!
